Talk about Serious... There is no alternative to Rayaale.

My dear readers please allow me to remind you two important things before I go further. It is the 11th day of the month. The day we remember the innocent citizens who were slaughtered in the road between Dilla and Borama by the criminals (dadqalato) for no apparent reason.

Fadlan aammiin ila dhaha inaga oo u ducaynayna;

Illaaha qaadirii naxariistii jano haka waraabiyo.

Illaaha qaadirii Dunuubtooda ha dhaafoIllaha qaadirii qabuurahooga ha u iftiimiyo hana u waasiciyo.

AAMMIINN yaa Rabul Caalimiin.

Secondly, please be reminded that of the three presidential candidates, it was Siilaanyo who crossed the line and justified the slaughtering and sided with the criminals (dadqalato).

Having said that, it is presidential campaign time in Somaliland, and there are as we know three candidates to choose from. How do you pick the right one?

There are less than 15 days to think of who is the right President for our country. The one that is capable of the position and the one that is very much competent in dealing with the nations prominent problems.

It is time to pause and think because the future of our nation depends much on our choices.Choosing the right political party and presidential candidate is not as easy as saying so. If we are concerned enough on our nation’s future, we have to choose it right.

It’s best to have a clear understanding of how to select a party and a presidential candidate.It is important to analyze the existing parties policies based on the past and the current issues.

Understanding the basics behind the parties is essential to throw the support to the right party. It is appropriate to choose a presidential candidate that is competent enough in dealing with our nation’s poverty-stricken economy, lack of security, lack of employment opportunities, corruption, rapid growth of odious crimes against the Samaroons and the unending poverty on most of our fellow citizens. And so I did without bias.

I have gone through a list of many issues which I thought important to Somaliland’s future to choose the stance I would prefer in a president and a party. There were important things to include in my decision and a ton of minor things to leave. But two issues stood out of the list; Honesty of the candidates and inclusion policies of the parties.

I studied and analyzed how the candidates view those issues generally. I then broadened my scope and determined how the candidates view our communities, and of course our regions Awdal and Salal in regards to the issues.

I carefully analysed where the parties stand on social, developmental and economical issues in regards to Awdal and Salal.Where ever you go, the talk is the election and the debate is on. The famous question is who a person supports and which party is good for the republic.

I was asked many times which party I support and who is the candidate I chose to support. I am not a fan of any of the parties but as they say "Do what the Romans do", I decided to throw my support on how I see fit. Which in fact I saw it better than watching the game on the side and contributing nothing. By doing so, I know the least I can do is to deny the wrong candidate to get what he does not deserve - my support.

Today, I hereby expose on whom I would cast my support. This might shock some people but believe me keeping in mind the interest of Awdal and Salal I analyzed the issues and made the decision.

I have chosen to entrust my support to the current president Mr. Dahir Rayaale Kaahin because he has more experience, capacity, ability, competency and capability to rule Somaliland than the other candidate of the major opposition party Mr. Siilaanyo.

Why I chose Rayaale over other presidential candidates?

I chose him simply because I see a stable future in Somaliland with Rayaale than with Siilaanyo. For Siilanyo, he was pulled down with incidents that most people doubt on his honesty and integrity. He was also proved in many instances that he cannot be trusted and relied upon. In other words, he is more a destroyer than a builder, good in dividing people than uniting. And our young republic does not need a man who will destroy what little we have achieved so far.

Somaliland needs a peace maker not a chaos creator. My dear reader, if you just pause for a minute and remind yourself the many policies of Kulmiye as exposed by many party officers, you will see an unstable Somaliland with Siilaanyo.

Check out just one of the polices;

"Anigoo wax dili kara duco qaadan maayo ee waa inoo dagaal..?BiixiFor god sake, is that a party to trust to lead" You be the judge. Well, all I want to say is this:Intay gooro goor tahay ha la iska mooso daadka soo socda.

For Faisal, he has uncertain disposition on some matters that reflect on how he would properly deal with perplex principle-related issues. His statements always cause puzzle and mental confusion, a sign which shows unpreparedness to the position.

Although Rayaale himself has his own weaknesses, numerous mishandlings and missteps of countless matters, the lack of an alternative along with his prudent concepts would take him into the next term. And so I believe. Let us just say that Rayaale is indeed the known Presidential candidate that can be dealt with easier than the unknown devil candidate of the major opposition party " Siilaanyo."

Kulmiye Party; "Waa loo dhashaaye looma dhuunto"

I did not support Kulmiye before and will not support now. The fact of the matter is and I am not alone in this thinking, Kulmiye is not a party of all. Many Somalilanders believe that it is a party of some. It is not inclusive and that can be proved by the saying which pops out of our minds whenever the word Kulmiye is heard;

"Kulmiye waa loo dhashaaye looma dhuunto";

This philosophy is one which almost all the top officers of the party believe in. It exposes the true triblistic attitudes of the party members and their dislike towards the others. Kulmiye memberships are intended for a tribe and make no mistake about it; all others are believed to be trespassers and as Kulmiye tradition dictates, Biixi will soon fold sleeves and issue fine tickets to the imitators. Well, trespassing is trespassing; he has all the right to ticket the intruders ! no exception to the Kulmiye rule.

Another point of why I don’t support Kulmiye is the fact that it is the party of the hidden agendas. It is the party of the arrogant SNM policies and that is what makes the party smell criminal. A party which favors the criminal policies of the SNM cannot be given the mandate to govern a republic formed in tribal confederacy.

Somalilanders cannot afford to go into a chaos again and re-adapt the atmosphere of hate which came along with the SNM people after Afweyne.

Remember the Ceelbardaale affairs? The illegal trial to rob innocent citizens from their land of centuries was created, encouraged and financed by Kulmiye as we all know. The Ceelbardaale-gate pulled down Siilaanyo and exposed the real intentions in his heart and created Somalilanders doubt on his honesty and integrity.

Also remember when the unarmed innocent citizens were kidnapped and slaughtered in the road between Dilla and Gabiley. It was Siilaanyo who supported the ?dadqalato.? Remember the answer he gave to the BBC Somali journalist when asked about the incident and he linked the ill-timed criminal act with the Ceelbardaale affairs with no mercy. His remarks reflected what he truly has in his heart.

As far as Awdal and Salal are concerned all that recent incidents should be in our hearts always and hence must not allow Siilaanyo to be the president of the land who will doubtlessly dictate chaos and preferential treatment to some.

We must not support his party which is the other side of the SNM coin. Well, although Rayaale’s administration did not do anything about the incidents up-to-date and the criminals are enjoying life in their home land, for sure matters could have been a lot worse if Siilaanyo was the president (God forbid). An imminent affect would have been a civil war at the least.

It should be clear to us now before it is too late that if he is given the mandate to rule the land, the same drama will come back and only then, it surely will be hard to reclaim dignity.

In light of all that facts, as far as Awdal and Salal are concerned Kulmiye must not be trusted to be the party which rules Somaliland. Rayaale is the one for a stable Somaliland.

I do not deny the fact that Rayaale alienated Awdal and Salal and even forced the two regions to fall back decades economically and developmentally but flip the coin over and imagine if Siilaanyo was on the chair, there can only be little doubt that Awdal and Salal would have become a desert by now and their citizens labeled as second class citizenship status. A fact which makes Rayaale Xaaji compared to Siilaanyo.

It is obvious that the Somaliland political parties are of the same essence on where they stand on social and economical issues in regards to Awdal and Salal but they are at the same time on different platforms, Kulmiye being the worst and which can be even categorised as the enemy of the two regions.

These are some of the many points I don’t support Kulmiye. Awdalites have done a great job in the last election denying Siilaanyo to become the president, repeating the trend would in fact serve the same again and I urge Awdal and Salal to do just that and vote for any other party. It will be up to each one of you to make sure that those of you who powered the victory in the last election stand together once again and deny kulmiye the opportunity to become the ruling party. Hence, voting for Udub is urged.

One thing noteworthy to mention and I am exercising honesty here is that Rayaale has done a bad job as Far as we the Samaroons are concerned. He buried our rights and degraded our pride. But the fact is, had Siilaanyo been the president, things would have been a lot worse and if he becomes the president, do not expect a miracle. He will be the same Siilaanyo who will make sure that Awdal and Salal are always glued at the bottom of the Somaliland bag.

For those of you who expect him to learn and adopt change, be reminded as the saying goes that a leopard cannot change its dark spots, Siilaanyo cannot change his personality. He is Siilaanyo now and will be Siilaanyo for the rest of his life unless you have the ability to redesign his DNA.

Siilaanyo, if he becomes the President and here say with me loud; "god forbid" will spearhead an economic policy that is based on clan warfare. Be assured that he will do everything possible to shut Awdal and Salal out of the political process in Somaliland and will take every opportunity to demonize them. Why vote for him then?

UCID - The other alternative

I have read and heard a lot about UCID and the party seems to possess the best policies compared to others as the party is the one that most closely mirrors my own political convictions. But the good policies never seem to have been implemented fully yet.
The party seems to lack nutrition to grow fully. In other words, the seed is planted but it needs fertilizers to help grow. Authorities of the party also seem to lack decision making. That fact made the public to nick name as the party of the flip-floppers.

Faisal the leader is famous for his changing decisions and his ability to confuse the public as he says one thing and takes 360 degrees to the other direction and says another the other day which reminds us that he is not yet ready to govern.UCID needs to grow up, plan and develop strategies to market its policies.

But for now it is a little early to give the support as that will surely be a waste of a vote. I will give the party some years to grow and may be next support is theirs.

Iskusoo wada Xoori;

This coming June 26, 2010, to whom you will entrust your valuable vote, is important. Vote wisely because every vote counts. Your single vote could change an entire nation. There is still hope for our country when we do our shares. Do your share by voting for the right candidate.Remember, standing in the way of your own progress is always more harmful than helpful. Giving your vote to Siilaanyo is just that. Don’t allow Siilaanyo and his Kulmiye stand in the way of our progress.

Let me warn you up front if you intend to vote for Siilaanyo; don’t get stressed when you find yourself skipping in the forest with all the Kulmiye wolves ready to pounce. Support Udub as it is the only one with no alternative.Be assured, giving your vote to Siilaanyo will not facilitate changes in your life but will surely make your world a nightmare. Don’t be an unwanted intruder.

If you are feeling pulled in two directions, don’t give your power to the one who will use against you. Pause, think and learn the policy of Kulmiye. Take your time. I am sure with in no time you will become the master of your domain and will trust your instincts. Listen to your heart; you will surely know that Rayaale is the Xaaji compared to Siilaanyo. In other words;

Hadii aad barato Siilaanyo waxa hubaala wax hore inoo gaadhayba inuu Rayaale noqon Xaaji.

Find the courage to step outside your zone and discover the true Siilaanyo who will spare no time to destroy your pride. Your vote is an investment. Be cautious with your investment. A properly calculated vote for UDUB will pay off three fold.

Hadal iyo dhamaantii;

Intana waa iga fariine ila heesa;Sargaalkii Kulmiyow, Sayid Siilaanyow tawakal calala. Howayoohooy....

Saaxibal dadqalato Sayid Siilaanyow tawakal calala. Howayoohooy....

Ninba waa markiisee Sayid Siilaanyow hada waa markaygiiHowayoohooy...

Stay tunned for the next artice... "Shar gudban, shaydaan xijaaban"...

Necessity is the mother of the Minnesota convocation

Salaanta guud wixii ka dambeeya. It is a sure thing that there recently has been a lot of noise in regards to the Minnesota convocation. We know that questions have been flying here and there as to why the convocation. As the convocation date is nearing, and of course with all good intentions, I would like to express my ideas and spell out what made it necessary. Before I put my opinion in details, let me turn your attention to the below quote which is as important today as it ever has been.

"Necessity is the mother of invention"

To elaborate a little more; this means that solutions to problems (the inventions) are born out of the need for a solution (the necessity).

To put it in our terms; Minnesota ?tol?convocation (invention) is born out of the need for solutions of the Samaroon problems(necessity).

In other words, as coming up with an idea is said to be the birth of an idea, the need to revive the Samaroon pride is the mother that gave birth to the Minnesota convention.

Having said that, it is a sure thing by now that some are asking what problems made the convocation a necessity. To put the answer in simple terms, I would like to remind my fellow Awdalites the continuous political, economical and social hardships facing the regions of Awdal and Salal coupled with the indifference of the government among others for the last decade and more.

Personal security being at the top of the security concerns, my dear Samarooni, please allow me to remind you this:

Abtirsiin markii laysku dilee dhiigii Samaroon dhulka lagu daadshay.

Markii Samaroon aamusee aarsan kari waayay.

Markii Ceelbardaale boobka lagu qaaday.

Markii la is weheshadii garta la inagu muusay.

Those incidents caused the Samaroon pride to disappear into thin air. Abuse comes in many forms, and the above are many of the abuses done against the Samaroons. That was when every Samarooni was startled and hit the reality. That was when Samaroons came to know that the more the preparedness for the unexpected the more the safety. That was when Samaroons felt the need to put the heads together to formulate a way for the betterment. And that is what made the Minnesota convocation a necessity.

Let us face it; the Minnesota convocation is all about unity and leadership which will revive our pride and dignity. I think it serves good purpose now to remind us all the pride, dignity and the legacy built and left for us by our forefathers and which we neglected to protect. The legends that made possible the Adel Empire ? our forefathers - to whom we owe much. And how their legacy is being neglected by today’s Samaroons.

Samaroons are always proud of the legacy left behind by our forefathers. It was a legacy made strong through leadership consultations and unity of people working together for a common cause. They defended their land, created an empire and maintained dignity, faith and a vibrant culture which produced great leaders and people who had stood up to challenges. They possessed pride and special love to their land.

One can write thousands of pages about the pride of the Adalites (Samaroons), but to sum up, one thing obvious from the legacy of our forefathers is that they serve as an inspiration to commemorate the contributions of our fore fathers to the history of Awdal. Compare that legacy to the present Samaroons and right away it becomes clear and obvious why the Samaroons need to get together to create unity and find leadership.

Present Samaroons

Unlike our forefathers, Samaroons today are not united. Unlike our forefathers Samaroons today are not proud to be Samaroons but instead are proud to belong to Udub, Kulmiye or Ucid. Unlike the then Samaroon heroes, today’s Samaroons never work together for the common good.

Unlike our forefathers, we don’t defend our land together let alone creating an empire and maintaining the Samaroon bright History and dignity. Unlike our forefathers, we oppose each other and cast each other let alone creating a culture which can produce leaders and heroes.

Unlike our forefathers, we accept defeat easily instead of standing up to challenges. Unlike our forefathers who denied the Europeans access to Adal we let others take our land for no cost.

Unlike our forefathers, our people were slaughtered in a day light for no apparent reason but just belonging to Samaroon tribe. Unlike our present leaders and elites who are tol-blind, our forefathers were real Samaroons who defended their rights by any means necessary.

Unlike our present time, in our forefathers’ times Gadabursiland was never up for foreign investment.

Unlike our times, Zeila was a city of the world which scholars dreamed of setting a foot on, not a city which tribes dream of showing a tribal exhibition to distort history. Unlike us, Samaroons then were one and the same.

Obviously, there are differences between the present Samaroons and their forefathers. As it is clear, we the present Samaroons are not doing something right. Our numerous faults let others off the hook and hence, Ceelbardaale affairs, the slaughtering of our people and the Zeila exhibition. We have gone on a wrong road for a long time now. It is time to turn back and find the right road.

Closely following the above points one finds that the two most differences between us and our forefathers are unity and leadership. As I mentioned before our forefathers had leadership and unity of people working together for a common cause. In contrast, the present Samaroons seem to be running all ways with no consultations to collectively solve their own problems.

Necessity is the mother of the Minnesota convocation.

Let us face it, Samaroon pride is getting degraded year in year out. Minnesota convocation is not against anybody or group. It is fact finding convocation. It is a way to revive the Samaroon pride and to fill the gap ? Unity and leadership.

It is the cure for the Samaroons if we want to live in harmony and peace. It is a must that we all support and make it happen.

As delegates are gathering in Minnesota, please allow me to remind you that we are Samaroons ? one family. We embrace the tribal political culture of Somaliland. In the same token, we must understand that in a culture of tribal politics, we can not afford to forget our Samaroon identity because we know other tribes haven’t either.

Let us all see it happen and make our people unite working together for the common cause. Let us face it; this is all about Samaroon dignity and pride. It is our life, our choice. What do we want? As far as I am concerned, I want to be a proud Samarooni again.

Keep in mind that waiting for good things to happen is counter productive. Make them happen. Discuss hole heartedly and unlock the potential of the Samaroons. Do not fear the truth and the future of our people, brain storm it and shape it. Don’t shy away the necessity. Stitch us together. Lead us come to our senses so that we become powerful again. Learn from each other. Listen to each other. Correct each other and take the destiny of our people in your hands. Fight for the best that is within our reach, even if that means disagreeing with the elders and resisting the mighty dividers.

Keep in mind that History is going to be made when you gather in Minnesota to change the lives of your people and to reclaim the Samaroon pride. Confront the reality and remember;

Abtirsiin markii laysku dilee dhiigii Samaroon dhulka lagu daadshay.

Markii Samaroon aamusee aarsi kari waayay.

Markii dowladii nabada masuulka ka ahyd maalin qudha sheegin…

We must not be a nation that can be divided by the Somaliland party illusions. We can be united and powerful again.

You were Adal. You are Awdal. And you can be Adal again.

Weydinkaa … Xadhiga Ilaahay qabsada, isku duubnaada oo hakala jabina.

The rest of us will watch you and expect the best and surely will slaughter black goats to ward off "evil eyes" and protect us from the forces of disunity.

Baahi baa keentay shirka Minnesota, waana lama huraal in la taageero

Salaanta guud wixii ka dambeeya, aan ku bilaabo qorallkaygan aniga oo ka jawaabaya su’aalo dadka reer Sheekh Samaroon iswaydiinayeen dhowrkii bilood ee u dambeeyay. Su’aalahaa oo ah;

Maxaa keenay shirka tolka ee lagu qabanayo Minnesota bisha April 1da? Maxaase looga dan leeyahay?

Aniga oo si dhib yar u dhigaya jawaabta; Shirka tolka ee Minnesota waa lama huraan waxana keentay baahi tolku u qabo midnimo, wadajir iyo horseed wacan oo inagu hogaamiya dariiqa haboon een inta dhowba ka halownay inagana badbaadiya burburka iyo mugdiga aan ku jirno wakhtigan xaadirka ah.

Tifaftirka qormadan ka hor, aan idin xasuusiyo arimo ku aadan Samaroonkii hore iyo ka manta, halkay Samaroonku gaadheen iyo halkaan maanta taaganahay.

Moran kama taagna taariikhda Samaroon in ay tahay mid aduun waynaha laga yaqaano. Waa taariikh qoran oon la baabiin Karin. Waxa islamarkaa barbarsocota isku day ku aadan baabiisteeda yada oo la adeegsanayo hab kala duwan oo ay ka mid yihiin in la badilo amma xasuusteeda iyo hadal qaadkeeda la yareeyo marka qaarkoodna la isku dayo in la sameeyo dhacdooyin lidi ku ah Samaroon si loogu lifaaqo taariikh soojireenka Beesha taas oo mustaqbalka noqon doonta taariikhda shalay.

Bari hore waxa jiray:

Bari hore waxa jiray dad Samaroon la yidhaahdo oo boqortooyo lahaa. Boqortooyadaa Samaroon oo aduunku ogaa waxay caam ku ahayd aqoon aan xad lahayn iyo geesinimo gaar u ahaa waxaana lagu yaqaanay inay qayrkood oo dhan ka adkaayeen oon marnaba daandaansi loola badheedhi karayn. Midnimo iyo wadajir baa loo yaqaanay oo qalbigoogaa mid ahaa. Way isku damqan jireen oo dan guud bay lahaayeen. Horseed bay geeska Afrika ka ahaayeen. Dad cadliga ku dheer bay ahaayeen oo Cadel (Adal) baa boqortooyadooda loo yaqaanay. Taariikhday ka tageena waa mid aduunka manta laga yaqaano, dhaxalkeedana Samaroonka maantu ku faano.

Taariikhahaas bay awowyaasheen inooga tageen. Magacii iyo sharaftii ay inooga tageena waa hubaal inaan hadii aanahay Samaroonka manta ku daaqayno oon ku meel marayno sidii jowharada wakhtigan xaadirka ah. Sida jirta waa mid aan isku raacnay jiikeenan Samaroon ee maanta inay jiilalkeenii hore taariikh wanaagsan, magac iyo sharaf inooga tageen.

Maantana waxa jira:

Maanatana waxa jira waa iska xaal aduunyee Samaroon yaguuni is eega oon is indho buuxin karayn. Samaroon aan isku duubnayn oo wadajir aan himiladoodu ahayn. Samaroon isla mormaaya oo hadii uu mid tog yidhaahdo taraaf kakale uu ku jawaabo.

Marka aad qiyaasto faraqa u dhexeeya labadaa Samaroon, waxaad garan kartaa inay tahay laba arimood. Waata horee Samaroonkii hore waxay lahaayeen midnimo iyo is qadarin halka uuna Samaroonka maantu lahayn. Ta labaad, Samaroonkii hore waxay lahaayeen hogaan talo wacan leh oo dadkiisa iyo dalkiisaba u damqanaaya.

Hadii aan maanta ku meel marayno wixii Samaroonkii hore inooga tagay, Su’aashu waa laban laabe waxay tahay ma haynaa masuuliyadii oo ma ilaalinaynaa jiritaankeeda? Caruurteenana ma u samaynay taariikh ay inaga dhaxlaan oo ay ku faanaan ilaaliyaana?

Samaroonow runta aan isku sheegnee arinteenu maanta ahaan ma fiicna. Hadii aan wax uga tagayno caruurteena biloo taariikh xun oo ay ka foorarsadaan uga tagnay. Tii aan dhaxalkeeda lahayna khatar bay ku jirtaa daayac baan ku samaynay oo waa la qaadnayaa hadii aanan la baabiinba amma la inagu lifaaqin foolxumo wajiga ay u dhigi kari waayaan caruurteenu.

Samaroonow bal arinteena ila eega. Taariikh wanaaga Samaroon waa wixii ka horeeyay bilowgii burburkii boqortooyadii Adal. Wakhtiyadii ka dambeeyay ilaa maantadaa an joogno wixii la inagu sameeyay een ka dhiidhiyi waynay hadii aan qor idhaa dadka daayoo dugaaga Awdal ku nool baa lilmayni oon la aamusiini karayn oo aduunkaa inala yaabi. Sii dheerayni maayee intii xasuus u dambaysay, dhacdooyinkii niyab jabka sameeyay ee samaroonka daafaha aduun waynaha ku nool calool waydka ku reebay ee qaarkeena waali u dhaweeyay anyar bayaanshee ila eega.

Sanadkii u dambeeyay waa kii inoogu darnaaye waa markii hujuumka lagu qaaday dhulkeena. Waa markii damiirkeena la tijaabshay. Waa markii la imtixaanay dadnimadeena, la qiyaasay heerka aarsigeena ee la qorsheeyay in dhaxalkii taariikhdeena magac xumo lagu lifaaqo. Waa markii la ogaaday inaynaan isku duubnayn oo qofba meel ku mashquulay. Waa markii la ogaaday inaynaan dan ka lahayn midnimadeena een caashaq u hayno xusbiyo aan macno buuran lahayn.

Dhacdo wixii dad lagu sameeyo taariikh bay noqotaa. Sanadkii ina dhaafay wixii Samaroon lagu sameeyay bilow bay u ahayd qormada taariikhda cusub ee loo qorsheeyay in taariikh ahaan loogu lifaaqo si loogu wiiqo wanaaga ay awowyaasheen inooga tageen ee dhaxalkeena ahayd.

Dadkeenii qarniyada daganaa Cerelbardaale waa tii hujuumka lagu qaaday si looga dareersho dad kalana lagu beero dhulkooda. Xaq daro aan hore aduunka looga samaynin bay arintaasi ahayd. In khariidad cusub la jeexo oo deegaankooda dadkale lagu beero ayaa dan looga lahaa. Illaaha qaadirka ah ee dulumka ka horjeeda ayuun baa ina baxshee Samaroon oo isku duubani xaqoodii ma difaacin.

Haldoorkii Samaroon oo dantooda u safraaya oon cidna ku gardaroonin waa tii la qafaashay ee xaqdarida lagu laayay. Magacaa ay siteen ee Samaroonka ahaa ayaa sababta dilmadooduna ku sal haysay. Samaroon oo isku duubane arintaa fool xumadeeda hadal iyo aarsi ka celin kari waa. Magac xumo ina raacda oo taariikhdeena lagu lifaaqo ayaa dan looga lahaa.

Gasiiradeena Saacadudiin waa barwaaqadii dhulka Samaroone waatii cidkale lagu wareejay ee dadka loo sheegay inayna Samaroonku awood u lahayn maalgalinteeda. An runta isku sheegnee, Waxa hubaal ah dadkaa maal qabeenka lagu sheegay inaanan laga siiyeen 8km dhul ah Berbera agteeda. Ku darsoo waa mid aan wada garanayno maalqabeenka Samaroon marnaba sideed km daayoo hal km lagama siiyeen hadii uu maal galinaayo buuraha ku xeersan lama dagaanka Cali Sabiix. In awooda dhaqaale Samaroon laga qaado oo dhulkooda kolba taago cidkale la siiyo oo maalgalin lagu magacaabo waa arin qorshaheeda waa hore la bilaabay. Samaroon oo isku duubani ka aamus arintaa waxayna ka mid tahay magac xumida lagu lifaaqayo taariikhdeena iyo dhul wareejinta lala damacsanyahay Samaroonka.

Shalay bay ahayd markii magaaladii dhabarkeeda ku haysay magaca taariikhda Adal ee aduunka laga yaqaanay, buugta taariikhdana lagu duugay (Saylac) een ku darsoo daayaceeda masuulka aan ka ahayn dhoolo tuska loola badheedhay. Inkasta oo malaha dadka qaarkii igu diidi, ujeedaa ka dambaysay sidaan aniga iyo dad badaniba qabno. Ujeedadu waxay sal dhigaysay in taariikhda Saylac inta yaree ku hadhay laga xayuubsho oo laga dul geeyo tu cusub oo dusheeda lagu sameeyo yada oo la bahdilaayo oo qabiilooyinka lagu casumay dhoola tuska loo sheego in taariikhihii badalmeen oo kuwii hore la iska iloobo oo tan cusub la daneeyo. Waa taariikhahaa dadka Samaroonee la badilaayo.

Akhristow, bal arintaa dhoolatuska ahayd xaga kale u wareeji oo jawaabteeda su’aashan ka fiirso.

Hadii uu Samaroon dhacdo u dhaqaaqo oo qabiilooyinka Soomaaliyeed oo dhan aan marti qaadno oo fikradu ina siiso in Jabuuti lagu sameeyo ileen Samaroonku taariikh dheer buu ku leeyahay xeebta Jabuutiye, dowlada Jabuuti iyo beesha Ciise ma ogolaani lahayd? Kaarteeyadii (xaafadihii) baa la isku haystaa waabase dhoolo tus aan ku samayno Jabuuti!!!

Ma jirto qabiilo qudha oo Soomaali ah oo ay intaas oo dhacdooyinii soo waajahaan sanad guduhii. Su'aashu waxa weeyi; maxay Samaroon gaar uga yihiin qabiilooyinka? Dhan kastaba u jeedi jawaabta waxa hubaal ah dad markayna lahayn midnimo waxay u jilicsanyihiin in dulum lalasoo doonto.

Midna waa hubaaloo labada arimood ee hore umarka u keenay Samaroonkii hore waxa weeyi midnimada ay lahaayeen iyo horseed wacan oo wakhti walb joogto u ahaa. Waana labada arimood ee Samaroonka maanta ka maqan.

Dhacdooyinkaa kor aan ku sheegay waa arimaha cusub ee ku lifaaqan taarikhda cusub ee la rabo in Samaroonka loo sameeyo ee dadaalka xooga leh loogu jiro. Dhacdada maantu sidaan ogsoonahay waa taariikhda shalay ee bari. Taariikhdii shalay ee awowyaasheen waata inoo noqotay taariikhdeena maanta een sharafteeda iyo mudhaheedaba ku daaqayno hadii aanahay Samaroonka maanta.

Dadka Samaroon intooda badani waxay qabaan inay dhacdooyinkaa kor ku qorani yihiin foolxumo loola badheedhay beesha. Waxase foolxumo labaad ah sida aan wada jir waxlooga qaban een meel mid ah la iskaga wada taagin.

Samaroonka manta ayay u taalaa wixii ay taariikh uga tagayaan caruurtooda. Sida muuqata waxaan u dhownahay in aan wax taariikh ah looga tagi doonin caruurteena hadii aanay wax is badalin. Waa iga su’aale Sidee dawo loogu heli karaa Samaroonka maanta ee dayacay ilaalinta tii ay dhexleen ay u samayn lahaayeena tu dhaxal gal u noqota caruurtooda?

Midnimo Weeyi Dawadeenu

Jawaabta sua’aashu waxay igusoo celinaysaa ujeedadii qoraalkaygan. Waxa hubaal ah oon wada ogsoonahay in Samaroonku sanadadii u dambeeyay qabatimayeen in mashaakilka loo abtiriyo ka dibna ciday khusayso lagu eego oon loo arag wax inawada khuseeya. Taasi waxay keentay in la daayaco dantii guud oo wax walba reer ahaan loo arko. Tafaraaruqu halkuu ina dhigayna waxa ka markhaati ah dhacdooyinkaa kor ku xusan iyo sidaynaan wax ugu haysan Somaliland. Runtu siday tahayna midnimo guud baa wax lagu qabsan karaa danta guudna lagu ilaashan karaa.

Rajada wanaagsan ee Samaroon waxa fure u ah midnimo. Waxa hubaal ah in ilaalada, qadarinta, xushmada daryeelka magaca iyo taariikhda Samaroon ku xidhantahay midnimada iyo wada jirka ummada ku abtirsata. Midnimo waa tol mid ah. Midnimo waa guul. Midnimo waa ujeedo mid ah, dan guud iyo iskaashi. Midnimo waa awood sare. Midnimo waxay sare u qaadaa awooda dhaqaale ee bulshada iyo wadciga siyaasadeed. Midnimo waa siyaasad ku aadan helka xaqa guud. Midnimo waa difaaca dadka iyo dalka. Midnimo waa indho fur ku aadan mustaqbalka. Midnimo waa istaageer. Midnimo waa xaqdhowr, qadarin iyo indho buuxin. Midnimo waa taariikh samayn wanaagsan. Midnimo waa qadarin iyo xushmo ku aadan jiilkii hore ee Samaroon.

Sida muuqata magacii Samaroon waa gabaabsi. Mudnimadiina mugdi bay gashay. Hadii aan wax la badalina waxa hubaal ah inay wax sii kala daadan doonaan oo ay adkaan doonto meel wax lagasoo qabto. Markaa Su’aashu waxay tahay; hadii dawada Samaroon tahay midnimo side loo heli karaa?

Shirka Minnesota waa furaha midnimada Samaroon iyo horseed wacan oo la helo:

Siday ila tahay midnimo waxay ku iman kartaa wada hadal la falanqeeyo siday wax u jiraan. La taabto halkaan taaganahay. La cadeeyo oo la qiro khatarta dadkeena iyo dalkeenuba ku sugan yihiin. Arimaheena oo dhan la qaadaa dhigo lana ogaado danta guud oo la fahmo meelna la isla dhigo daayac tirkeeda.

Hadii aan darisno dhacdooyinkaa hore waxa hubaal ah in Samaroon baahi xoogle u qabo midnimo. Baahi baan u qabnaa isbadal. Arimaheena oon wax ka badilaa waa lama huraan.

Baahidaasina waata keentay baaqa shirka Minnesota. Baahi loo qabo in la qorsheeyo sidii loo heli lahaa midnimo iyo horseed Samaroon. Waa isku tag lagu falanqayn doono sidii loo heli lahaa iftiin rajo u shida dalka iyo dadka Samaroon. Ummadi isma indo buuxiso hadii aanay lahayn wax wada qabsi. Midnimo waa wadaag iyo walaalo is jecel. Ummadi hore umar ma samayso hadii aanay lahayn horseed ku haga iftiin iyo mustaqbal wanaagsan. Shirka Minnesota waa jawaab ku aadan wada hadal iyo soo noolaynta midnimada iyo sharaftii Samaroon. Shirku waa baaq ku aadan inay Samaroon sida ay yihiin isku dhaamaan. Waa xasuusin in ay sharaftii, dareenkii iyo damiirkii dadka ku abtirsada Samaroon ku dhowdahay gabaabsi ay tahyna wakhtigii dib loosoo noolaysiin lahaa. Shirku waa baaq ku aadan daryeelka danta iyo dadka Samaroon oon cidna gaar u ahayn cid gaar ahna lagaga soo horjeedin.

Sidaan ogsoonahay shirka Minnesota maaha kii u horeeyay noqona maayo kii u dambeeyay laakiin astaan gaar ah ayuu leeyahay. Waa shir baahi guud ay keentay ujeedo guudna leh. Waa mid ina midaynaya, xoogayn doonana guud ahaan arimaha siyaasadeed ee Awdal iyo Salal. Awooda sare ee goboladeenuna waa awood sare oo ina garan siinaysa xaqa aan ku leenahay Somaliland, inoo dhib yarayn doontana helitaankeeda. Shirku waa dariiqa sare u qaadka wadciga siyaasadeed ee beesha Samaroon.

Sidaa daraadeed, hadii aan rabno inaan qadarino dhaxalkii taariikheed ee awowyaasheen, hadii aan rabno midnimadeena, hadii aan rabno magaca iyo sharafta Samaroon oo meel marta, hadii aan rabno inaan xaqeena wada jir uga helno dowladaha jira, waxay ila tahay in si wada jir ah loo taageero shirkaa Minnesota. Midnimada iyo danta guud waxay ku xidhantahay libinta shirkaa. Samaroonow jiritaanka iyo qadarinta ummadi wakhtigan xaadirka ah waxay ku xidhantahay isku duubnida beeleed. Ha la taageero oo haloo hagar baxo shirka Minnesota.

The Mayor who burned his candle at both ends

Strange but true story was reported last Saturday by Awdalpress. The story was the first of its kind in Somaliland. Even the head line was mind boggling let alone the whole story. For sure now, Security is getting out of hand in the Republic and especially for the Awdalites and the government has no power to protect its citizens.

I think it is fair to say that it is time for the Awdalites to slaughter black goats to ward off "evil eyes" and protect us from "the camel boys' evil”. Well, at least that is what the Pakistani President is doing to protect himself from the Talibans.

Check this out;

"Maayarka Boorama oo si Khiyaamo ah loogu dhacay Hargeysa iyo Boolis ku lug lahaa-Waa yaab...? Awdalpress

Amazing! Isn't it? This is the kind of stories we only see in the movies, specially the old Wild West cowboys' movies. Only this time, it is true and believe it or not as reported the drama happened in Hargeisa. Yes I said Hargeisa not California - a real drama that captured the talk of all the people in Somaliland. Not by the Wild West cowboys, but by the wild camel boys of Hargeisa.

The operation was extremely successful. Thanks to Abu-sufyan academy - Suleiman Gaal's institute of robbery where robbing and slaughtering Awdalites etc are in the curriculum.

Dear reader, read the headlines again, it is the mayor of Borama who is involved in the drama. Not an ordinary citizen. When I first read the headlines, I was expecting a burglary kind of a thing - a break-in of his house or office but never occurred to me that such a robbing have taken place in a hotel in the middle of the capital of Somaliland.

Haad ba haad kici, Somaliland budhcad baa ka dilaacday oo waa la is dhacayaa!!!

My dear reader, I am sure that you can see a lot of things in the headline. For me, I can see nothing good but desperation, frustration, ignorance, arrogance, primitiveness, lack of rule of law, doqoniimo, fuleynimo, dowlad la'aan, ciyaalo suuqnimo, kalsooni la'aan, shisheeye ka baq, and a total failure of the Somaliland system of security and government.

Can you imagine what has happened in the hotel room and what was going on in the mayor's mind while being robbed? Well, hard to imagine and as obvious no body knows but the mayor and the robbers. Let us dramatize a little of what seems to have happened.

This is not what exactly happened in the hotel room but a dramatization of what seems might have taken place.

First and foremost, visualize the mayor with a bag full of Awdal's revenues (Thousands of dollars).

Now visualize four men in the hotel room waiting for the mayor to show up. After a long wait, one of the robbers sneaks through the window and sees the mayor coming with a big black bag. He notifies the other robbers. Two robbers with dark sun glasses take positions at the back of the room and the other one takes position in the middle of the room. The door keeper who saw the mayor coming gets ready to open the door.

The mayor expecting a good day's pay with smiles in his face knocked the door. The door man (robber) opens the door and salutes the mayor with a smile. The mayor moves forward into the room and immediately sees the two robberies at the back of the room with the black sun glasses and pistols drawn out.

The mayor smells danger. Fears for his life and his heart began bouncing his chest - bum-bum, bum-bum, bum-bum. O-ow, he whispers to himself. My god, what have I done? A flash of the dadqalato went through his head. He decided to wait for the event and keep quite in the mean time.

The door man grabs and immediately opens the bag. With surprise, he declared to the others;

"Dhega ... Walee wuu camiranyahay!!! Waar mayor, sowdigan soo buuxiyay. Wixiiba maad soo qaaday? Miyaanad waxbaba uga iman kuwaad ka ahayd masuulka??”

The robbers with the black sun glasses with cigarettes in their mouths and tilting their lips a little to the right took steps forward to have a look at the bag. Again with surprise, one of them claimed the victory and said;

"qodhiin iyo xeradiin miyaanan idiin sheegin in wax la dhaco reer Awdal ugu dhib yaryihiin?"

The other with the sun glass approved and said;

“Walee ina dhagaxow fariid baa tahay oo waataqaan Gadabiirsi...Yaa.. Gow"

Now visualize the mayor in a corner and hearing all these words. The other robber, the one in the middle of the room who happened to be a singer (fanaan) took a sneak and saw the bag full of the green stuff.

“Waaar inaga hubiya inayna ahyan warqadihii Somaliland?” He shouted and again with the famous cheek tilting to the right of the camel boys.

“Waaar miyaanad kala aqoon doolarka iyo warqadahaSomaliland??? Waaar waa doolarkii oo qadhqadhaya.” assures one of the robbers.

The singer couldn't restrain, snapping his fingers, he began singing (the famous liilalow); “lii lalow, lii lalow, lii la low ..Lacagtii Awdal baa --- HAA—dhib yaraan ku helee --HAA—ninka bada ku dhacaaya ee maraakiibta dhacaaya maxaad ka taqaan... HAHA.” Every body now joined the singer and they all sang along ...li lalow lii la low.....

The mayor still in the small corner waiting for the end could not say a word. After a good ten minutes time of patting each other and kissing the dollars, they stopped singing and the door man now with his lips wide open and tilted to right began talking to the mayor;

"Waar mayor, gow, show ileen lacagta la waayayba idinkay ku dambaysay...Yaa... haye... Waar nin fiican baa tahay oo amarka si fiican u qaatee waxba ku qali mayno reer Gabilay baa wax qalee waanuku siidayn ee nabaday".

The others didn't give a damn. They just grabbed the bag and hit the road and since the mayor is no where to be seen.

Awdalpress tried to contact and reported;

“Maayarka ilaa hada lagama hayo wax war ah oo ku saabsan arrintan ku dhacday inkastoo aanu dhawr jeer isku daynay inaanu la xidhiidhno laakii waxa uu naga qaban waayay telefoonkiisii...”Awdalpress

I don't blame him. Silence is the best policy. Every fool would have done the same. Waa gartii inuu ciilkiisa is qariyo. Muxuu ku hadli lacagtii dadwaynaha ayuu ceel ku ridee. Miyuu baabuur uun usiiyo qashinka magaalada lagaga qaado amma ?ambulance?dadka loogu adeego. Maanta wax badan bay tari lahayd lacagtaasi dadka abaaruhu hayaan ee shalay shaaca uu ka qaaday ku xigeenkiisu.

As reported the mayor received a call from hell and chose to follow the call to hell. Little did he know that the call would lead to an unexpected direction and change his life. That is what you get when you cheat your people. I think there should be an inquiry of how things went wrong and to dig the story to the bottom.

The Somali pirates (budhcad badeed) are making millions hijacking ships and the camel boys are robbing Awdalites making hundreds instead. One wonders why the ?budhcad-Awdaleedku? doesn’t begin the piracy business along the Berbera sea coast and make millions.

Well the answer is obvious. First the camel boys don’t know how to swim. Secondly, they are known to have no bravery traits of going out to the high seas and face the dangers of hijacking foreign ships. Thirdly the camel boys specialize in urban robbery. After all, why should they bother going out of their familiar zone while they can just dial a number and fulfill any robbing mission in a minute.

The story has been a house hold for about a week now, all I want to say to the mayor is:

This is an unfortunate incident, however, it exposed other problems in regards to trusting authorities that would leave a permanent scar on the residents of Borama and therefore, I would advice you Mr. Mayor to just let it go as you were let go by the bandits and resign.

The smallest behaviors can often cause the biggest damage to those you govern and this incident is surely one of them. For what you have done, it would be very hard for you to focus on the job. Therefore, put your self at ease and resign.

As is obvious, there is a wall separating you from the residents of Borama city. This wall was created by you to protect you from the unknown but it has become clear that the wall you built lead you to the unknown. Mr. Mayor it is time to damage the wall itself and try to build another one that protects you and the residents together from the unknown. In the mean time please resign and put the minds of the people in rest and peace.

I have read a lot of articles about you. I know that you have planted some professional seed that have started to grow. But Mr. Mayor you were not careful with the fertilizer. Don't you think it is time for you to redo the planting and being careful about the fertilizer? Please do so. In the mean time rest your mind and resign.

I know that you feel sorry for your self, you are right, you have missed out a fabulous opportunity that was right at your finger tips ? the trust of the people ? But you can earn the trust of the people in Borama again. Please start doing so and resign in the mean time.

You have been burning the candle at both ends and you've burned it out. Please take a break and resign. But remember next time to burn it only one side.

Mr. mayor, the camel boys have scored an unexpected goal out of you. That is OK, but next time when making choices, be sure they are yours and not the desires of others. But now I know that you are feeling stuck, I urge you to liberate your self by adopting to the situation and working towards a new beginning. In the mean time please do yourself a favor and resign.

It obvious that Somaliland is in a mess. Security must be the presidents priority. Security is bleak and all eyes of the budhcad-Awdaleedku are on Awdal. I think it is time for Awdal to stock up guns to protect their wealth. Awdalites are all in line to be robbed sooner or later. We need to protect what is left for us.

My dear reader, can you guess who is next in line and robbers are planning for? I think I know. Let me give you a hint:

Boqortooyadaada budhcad baa ka dilaacday oo waa la isdhacayaa gaar ahaan hadii aad kasoo jeedo Awdal. Adigana waa lagu gaadayaa waanad garanayne. Mudanow hadii aad guntiga inyar uun wax ku hayso, boholihii Qunujeed ha iloobine ku dam sii....

7/11 Criminals are Still At Large(Justice Denied and approved by the government of Somaliland

July 11 was the date when curses shadowed the skies over Gabilay, poison filled the hearts of the dadqalato and heavens opened doors for the victims of Awdal. July 11 was the date when savage cowards changed the peaceful happy atmosphere of Dilla Gabilay road into a primitive Stone Age lawless region. July 11 was the date when the most horrific crimes ever in Somali soil were committed against innocent citizens of Somaliland just because they belonged to Samaroon clan. July 11 was the date when the citizens of the area were sorted out as ?Gun? and ?Gob?. July 11 was the date when the dadqalato were classified as ?gun? for ever and the innocent Samaroons as the ?Gob? of the area. July 11 was the date when the dadqalato were labeled as the lowest of the low (gun gunteed).

The crimes were one of the most horrific murders ever seen in a land not known for horrific murders. It’s been reported that the criminals were as cruel as they could be and enjoyed their crimes. According to those who saw the bodies it appeared that the criminals not only wanted to kill, they wanted the victims to suffer before they died. Basically they were tortured in cold blood. Monsters with horrible thoughts in their heads destroyed lives. Useless criminals who failed in life shortened the lives of those who worked hard to succeed.

As is known the crime has been initiated by greedy idiots whose motto was to create chaos as to their benefits. These were deliberately crimes against humanity and intentional killings to start a civil war in the country. Some body should be held responsible for the crimes.

Somaliland claims that it is a government with its own justice system. But if that is true shouldn’t it be capable of punishing crime and protecting its law-abiding citizens? Obviously, Somaliland lacks a working justice system.

Waxaan la yaabay Somaliland oo shalay xustay maalinta xuquuda aadamiga. Runtii arintaasi waxay ku tahay qowmiyada reer Awdal meel wal oo ay joogaanba dhirbaaxo labaad oo si kas ah loogula badheedhay. Waxaana masuul ka ah Madaxwaynaha. Sobobtu waxay tahay madaxwaynaha waa inay u sinaadaan dadka reer Somaliland. Xuquuqdooduna mid ahaataa. Ma aha arin in dad loo diido xuquudooda hadana loo dabaaldago xuquuqda dadka.

Hadii la xusay xuquuqda qofka aadamiga ah, maxaa ku dhacay xuquuqdii haldoorkii reer Awdal ee gardarada lagu dilay danbiilayaashiina raaxaysanayaan. Maxaa ku dhacay xuquuqda dadka masaakiinta ah ee dhulkoodii lagu maagayo ee la dilayo. Ma dad gaar ah ayuunbay ilaalinta xuquuqda qofku ku socotaa.

A capable justice system punishes criminals for their crimes and removes potentially dangerous criminals (dadqalato) from society. But to our dismay the dadqalato are enjoying life in their homes. That fact justifies that Somaliland government functions in contrast to world justice systems. Rather than punishing criminals for their actions, the government of Somaliland sympathizes with the criminals (Dadqalato), hides them and continues to attempt to comfort them on the expense of the law-abiding citizens.

The government ignores the fact that punishments serve to protect the society and also serve as deterrents to other would-be criminals. Obviously if the government continues its policy of harboring the criminals then we must look always over our shoulders as the savage can do again.

Malaha dabaaldaga maalinta xuquuqda aadamigu waxay ku socotay sida dowladu u nabad galisay dadqalatada oo loo xusay shaqada fiican ee ay ka qabteen taageerka ay ku taageereen xaqdarida dadkii dambiga falay iyo siday dowladu u diiday inay maxkamad soo taagaan.

Again and amazingly, as has been reported recently Mr. Justice Minister has been busy renovating and modernizing the jails of Somaliland. C’mon Mr. Minister what happened to your logic? Wouldn’t it be better to develop the will, moral and the courage to capture the criminals (dadqalato) rather than modernizing your jails? By the way, the dadqalato might be chewing qaad in a place not far from your office if at all you have the will to do your job honestly. And let me remind you one thing Mr. Minister, you have to have the will and the courage to resolve problems of the past before going forward into the high tech future if you know what I mean!!! Do your work Mr. Minister, Capture the criminals and then celebrate for the human rights day….

There should be some basic principles of Justice for Victims of Crime and Abuse of Power. Common sense dictates that offenders must be punished for their crimes. But that never happened and is not expected to happen. Also it is simple common logic, when public officials or other agents acting in an official or quasi-official capacity violate national criminal laws; the victims should receive restitution from the government whose officials or agents were responsible for the harm inflicted. But again that did never happen.

Instead, Somaliland dared to lie to the world and celebrated for the human rights day which never exists in the land of the dadqalato.

The question is who is responsible for the crimes? I think it is fair to say that the responsibility rests on the ministers of interior and justice who failed to bring justice to the families of the victims and to the citizens of the land in general. To go a little further it is the president who is in turn responsible for the actions of his cabinet. Therefore, it is again fair to put the blame on the president.

Mr. President, let me remind you that waiting for what the heart desires is the hardest part of life. Awdalites have been waiting for you to give the orders to capture the dadqalato and punish them as they deserve. Your citizens are waiting for you to comfort their hearts and capture the criminals. Such people have no hearts and have no place in your Somaliland. Capture them and slaughter them in front of all the people. Only after you can celebrate for the human rights day. You have the power to do so today but Mr. President be reminded that in the after life...? al amru yowma idin lilaah...?—orders belong to Allah in the after life-----

Make no mistake about it, the slaughtering of the innocent Samaroons was beyond cruel and unusual, and the monsters that committed the crime could well be capable of striking again. If the dadqalato are not brought to justice that might encourage them to do it again and Samaroons must know that the only thing that qualifies for the slaughter is just to be a Samaroon. Any one can be slaughtered. Belonging to UDUB or Kulmiye or UCID will not spare you. Samaroons must put pressure on the government to do the right thing and bring justice to Awdal.

Iskusoo wada xoori, Samaroons must keep in their hearts that:

1. We can’t always care for others or we forget to care for ourselves.
2. Our family relationships are sacred commitments that should be protected
3. We need to balance our desires with a large dose of common sense.

Allaha qaadirkii janatul fardowsa haka waraabiyo shuhadaadii lagu dilay xaq darada.

My Somaliland and your Somliland is no more our Somaliland

I read the article "Tribe Worshipping S/Land Is Not My S/Land!" by Noah Arre, with interest. It was well written and moving. Unfortunately with all due respect, it is sad to say, that little country called Somaliland - Your Somaliland and my Somaliland is no more our Somaliland. It is not the Somaliland we all had in mind. It has gone nuts and has become the "Slaughter land". The land of the beast. The country of the eccentric. The land of insanity. The land of the dadqalato. The kitchen of Suleyman Gaal and his gangs. A place where there is no freedom, no peace, no democracy, nothing but fear and frustration.

We have been cheated for eigteen years. We have been in endurance for that many years and hoping for the better year in year out, but to no avail. It is getting worse day after day and every Somalilander is the witness. What has been hidden for that many years appeared out of the blue, and we are finally seeing it clearly. There is a root to the problem and we are right at the bottom of it now.

The Somaliland that was supposed to be all inclusive refused to remain so and preferred to be exclusive. The whole thing was lip singing and they could not hide it any more. So they shed it out. My dear Adalite, check this out:

" .... Hadii aan Isaaq nahay waa in aan dalka qabsanaa oon ka qaadnaa Rayaale, waxani waa waali ma waxa aynu eeganaa waxan, ma wasiiradan la adeegsanaayo ee arimaha gudaha maaliyada iyo hawlaha guud ayaynu eeganaa oo lagu shaqaysnaayo, waa in aan iska xoraynaa maamulkan aan Isaaqa ahayn oo aan keenaa madaxweyne Isaaq ah...." This was delivered in speech by Samaale.

The above quote was written by a Somaliland patriotic gentleman of Isxaaq clan in an article who did not like the policies of the gangs. The whole artice is posted on warsanmag article section and is titled as "Samaale Miyaanu Aheyn kiii Yaa ISAAQAY Lahaa."

That was the real intention of Somaliland. That is what is being exposed out nowadays. Rayaale oo qudha ayaa ku dhex jira. Kiina ma ogola wakaa shaaca ka qaaay Samaale. Awdalay wax ku qaado oo ku quuso. Hadii Rayaale aan la rabin ogow ka taageeraya Rayaalana lama ogola. Ka kale ee ku jira Kulmiye ama Ucud na lama ogola. That is what is killing Somaliland. That is what turned Somaliland into Isxaaqland. And let it be. Let the boat sink and let us see who loses the most. What is amazing is the fact that the words came out of the mouth of a supposedly responsible man. A man Somalilanders trusted to lead to betterment.

Surely the metamorphosed idiot put his feet into his mouth and exposed what was hiding in his sick heart whose arrogance exceeds his ignorance. That is the kind of unintelligent politician who turned Somaliland into Zooland. That is the kind of a politician who is turning the "the little country that could!" into the " the little land of secrets."

Waxa taa ka markhaati ah sida dowlad ku sheegu ilaa hada uga aamusantahay arimihii foosha xumaa ee ka dhacay dariiqa u dhaxeeya Dilla iyo Gabilay ee dadqalatadu ku qasheen dadkii musaafurka ahaa ee Samaroon Allaha u naxariistee.

Somaliland waa dowlad qabiilo ku dhisnayd kuna dhisan oo marka horebe ujeedo laga lahaa. Waa dowlad loogu adeegsanayo dhul balaadhsi. Waxa taa ka markhaati ah sida loogu dacatiyayo dadka masaakiinta ah ee looga boobayo dhulkoodii waligoodba ay ku noolaayeen ee dowladuna taageerayso.

Somaliland waa dowlad qabiilo ku dhisan oo dadkeedu u sinayn. Waxa taa ka markhaati ah sida dadka masaakiinta ah een waxba galabsan maalin walba loogusoo duulayo ee ayna dowladu ka hadlayn waxna ka qabanayn. Dowlad maaha Somaliland ee waa wax ay qabiilo leedahay ee magaca Somaliland yaan lawasakhayn ee halaga badilo oo haloo bixiyo Isaaqland ammaba Samaaleland kolba sidii la jeclaado...Gaalland qudheeda waa mid u furan...

My dear Adalite, Somaliland is feeling like a turtle without a shell nowadays and surley it will remain that way forever. There will always be snakes in the Somaliland politics that will take a bite. There is no hope for the little country that is full of secrets. It is in its diminishing return. We have been ignoring the truth for more than eighteen years and now we seem to be ready to finally share how we are feeling. Let it go!!! let Somaliland go. Let Adalland flourish...

My dear Adalite, something has unlocked and the cage is open. It is time to fly and expand our wings. Let Somaliland go. It is time to sing... kana siib kana saar... Ka Somaliland siib oo ka Adalland saar.

What is happening in Hargeisa is more than insult and we have been trying to ignore it for so many years, but we are almost done with juggling for the unthankful. It is time for our home land. It is time to let Somaliland go and establish Adalland. There is the energy of abundance all around us, we have to soak it and establish Adalland. We are receptive today and emotionally ready for the next step. So sing along with me ...kana siib kana saar....

We are finally seeing the root cause of the problem. What is happening in Hargeisa is telling us something, and that is to move on and let go of what is dragging us down. It is time for change, and surely it will be for the better.

We see the dream, and the reality, it is time to connect the dots. It is time for our Adaland.

My dear Adalites it is time to trust the inner voice. It is time for Awdal to let Somaliland go. We are all together on this journey, So we have to enjoy the connection while it lasts and don't over think the finish line.

S/Land Parliament The Danger ZONE

In recent days we have been pomparded with what is happening in the Somaliland parliament also known as the "Samaale kitchen" where Suleyman Gaal is the chief chef. Absurd news has been coming on daily basis about the behaviour of the members who seemed to have camped into unyielding camps of violence. That in turn created the citizens to believe their actions as the character of our culture and norms.

Before I go further, allow me to remind us all what a parliament is meant to be. Then I will write about the evolution of the Somaliland parliament and where it is resting on at last. In another article, I will write about what does a member of parliament do and what skills does a member of parliament need to serve those who elected him/her.

What is a parliament?

Parliament as defined by Wilkipedia, is a type of representative assembly with the power to pass, ammend and repeal laws. The name is derived from the French - Parlement - a discussion.

Obviously, the word has gone through an evolution and rested on its modern meaning as it is used for body of people who would need to discuss matters of state.

The same meaning is given in our traditional terms and in our religion too. Golaha xildhibaanada - meel lagu gorfeeyo arimaha dowlada, sharciga lagu sameeyo, laguna badalo lagagana hadlo arimaha u dan ah dadka iyo dalkaba. Majlis Alshura - as it is known in our sharia is well emphasized in our religion and the importance of it is premised by the following verses of our holly Quran;

"... Those who answer the call of their lord and establish the paryer, and who conduct their affairs by shura...[are loved by Allah]."

"...Consult them [the people] on their affairs. Then when have taken a decision [from them], put your trust in Allah."

Parliaments have an important role to play in delivering governance which is effective in terms of reducing poverty and building democracy. Parliaments can also play an important role in ensuring that wealth is spent effectively. On the contrary the Somaliland parliament is very effective in increasing poverty, demolishing democracy and creating chaos. The Somaliland parliament is a place where the venerable are exploited. This made politics in Somaliland to become a drab, unispiring, unintelligent often humiliating and boring business.

The evolution of the Somaliland parliament:

The Somaliland parliament has developed a new theory of evolution; First, Late Egal (AU) had a hard time convincing members that it is kind of majlis alshura where government affairs are run. Some thought it just a place of "Ijabane" and came in with qaad and chew with their legs crossed on desks. Others simply thought it as a place of spending the morning hours and came in with dominos and playing cards dressed with macawis and the famous Somali sticks on their shoulders.

It really was a daring experience for Egal but finally succeeded in convincing them to just show up as it fits in their schedule and just listen and learn.

It became then, the do nothing house and a place where members sit loose, chat, and wait for the end of the month to collect the salary. A place where arogance exceeded ignorance. When Rayale came to power, it became the house of teasing and shouting; then became the fighting arena where members throw benches to each other and recently has become a shooting house and soon is expected to be taken over by Suleyman Gaal and his gangs and to become a slaughter house where Samaroons will be slaughtered.

I never felt confident the Somaliland parliament will work out a bit and that is showing nowadays. What is happening in the parliament or the boxing house if I may, is deeply depressing moments for some but to me it is a sign of complete failure and a sign of the emergence of what has been hiding in the hearts of the majority of the unintelligent, spoiled camel boys.

From Abu-Sufyaan House

Latest news coming from the house of Abu-Sufyaan ( Suleiman Gaal's house) confirmed that the gangs have been watching movies of the wild west, admired the violant life style of the then American wild west and planning to implement in the parliament as soon as possible and immitate the outlaws, becoming the camel boys of Somaliland instead of the American cowboys shooting off who ever disagrees with their filthy ideas.

Secret documents from Abu-Sufyaan house revealed this morning that the gangs (camelboys) are planning to raise two motions which really, really, really smells danger and which needs immediate counter attack:

The right to bear arms in the parliament
The right to become dadqalato so that they slaughter the Samaroon members of parliament.
Suleyman Gaal and the gangs have become politicians with mental health disorders that react by decompensation. And as is obvious, they rarely feel remorse or fear the consequenses of their misdeeds. But this only makes them culpable and dangerous.

Danger is looming:

It was reported recently that Suleyman Gaal was seen running in and around the parliament in circles like a chicken with its head cut off. He was spotted several times in rage. And as we know this is not a good sign as rage is an emotion shown by the dadqalato that affects common sense and creates disaster. We know what the known slaughterers (dadqaladu) do when in rage. I here by warn the Awdal representatives not to go any where near the parliament to avoid slaughtering. In the same token, I also warn President Rayale to take precautions as Suleyman has called upon the Gabilay dadqalato to have a feast in the parliament.

President Rayaale must declare the parliament area a "Danger zone" and issue a warning to the Samaroons in Hargeisa as the dadqalato are being invited to the parliament by Suleyman Gaal and Samaale.
